LIVING BRAVER

Living Braver grew from a writing challenge – and quickly became my journey of figuring out how to stand strong in this scary world of ours. It became my journey of taking one step of faith at a time.

Sometimes the trials of life and our own insecurities threaten to overwhelm us. Sometimes we are presented with opportunities, challenges, things not in our comfort zone and we let fear dictate our actions. A friend of mine, Renee Ratcliffe, once said “The risk of failure outweighs the regret of never trying.” Think about a time you “didn’t” because of the risk of failure and how after the opportunity was gone you lived in regret so wishing you “had”.

Then there are those times outside of our control. The financial downturns, the loss of a loved one, struggles with health, overcoming traumas in our lives. It is then we must remember: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” (1Peter 5:7 NIV)

My prayer is that this journey will help you, that it will point your vision upward to where your help comes from.
